17,500 trees planted!

During January and February 2021, Eigg’s intrepid tree planting squad managed to plant 17,500 trees despite some bitterly cold weather. Read all about the project to harvest seeds from native trees on Eigg, grow and then plant them to create a new woodland up behind Sandavore here.
